1. Service Description

MinuteMasters ("the Service") is an AI-powered parenting companion application that helps children aged 7-16 build healthy daily routines through voice reminders, gamification, and progress tracking. The Service includes:

• A mobile application for parents and children (iOS and Android)
• Cloud-based reminder scheduling and delivery via push notifications
• AI-generated, age-adaptive voice and text reminders
• Gamification features including XP, streaks, levels, and achievements
• Optional mental health and wellbeing modules (mood check-ins, breathing exercises)
• An optional MinuteMasters Speaker hardware device for in-room voice reminders

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MinuteMasters, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create a family account. By creating an account, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of any children added to the family.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Setting and safeguarding your parental PIN
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

3.2 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and adding child profiles. Accurate age information is essential for delivering age-appropriate content.

3.3 Appropriate Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the application
• Use the Service to collect data about other users without their consent
• Create accounts for children who are not under your legal guardianship

3.4 Parental Responsibility

MinuteMasters is a tool to assist parents in building routines for their children. It is not a substitute for parental supervision. You acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for your child's wellbeing and safety
• AI-generated messages are educational aids, not medical or professional advice
• Mental health features are supplementary and do not replace professional care
• You should review and approve any sensitive content modules before enabling them

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Property

The MinuteMasters application, including its design, code, graphics, AI models, voice content, achievement system, and all related intellectual property, is owned by the MinuteMasters Team. All rights are reserved.

The MinuteMasters name, logo, and branding are trademarks of the MinuteMasters Team. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

4.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the Service (custom reminders, notes, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.

4.3 Feedback

If you provide suggestions, feedback, or ideas about the Service, we may use them without obligation to compensate you.

5. Fees, Subscriptions, and Payment

5.1 Subscription Plans

MinuteMasters offers a free tier with limited functionality and premium subscription plans that unlock the full set of features for your entire family. Current subscription options include:

• Monthly Plan: $9.99 per month
• Annual Plan: $79.00 per year

All premium subscriptions include a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. Pricing may vary by region and is displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.

5.2 Auto-Renewal and Billing

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android) at the confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5.3 Managing and Cancelling Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings:

• iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
• Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Any price increase will take effect at the start of your next billing period after the change, and you will be notified before being charged at the new rate. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

5.5 MinuteMasters Speaker

The MinuteMasters Speaker hardware device is sold separately and subject to its own purchase terms. A premium subscription is required to use the Speaker with the app.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

7. Disclaimer Regarding AI Content

MinuteMasters uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized reminder messages and wellbeing content. While we implement safety filters and age-appropriate content controls:

• AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or educational advice
• We cannot guarantee that all AI output will be perfectly accurate or appropriate in every situation
• Parents should review sensitive content settings and monitor their child's experience

8. Termination

8.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at minutemastersapp@gmail.com. Upon deletion, all your data (including child profiles) will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the Service in a manner that could harm other users or our infrastructure. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

9. Modifications to the Service

We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will endeavor to provide advance notice for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MinuteMasters regarding the use of the Service.
